Verify an email list from a CSV API
Exported a list of signups or leads to a CSV and need to clean it before a send? Take the email column, POST the addresses in batches of up to 50, and get one verdict per address back in the same order: syntax, MX records resolved over DNS, disposable and role flags, a typo suggestion for slips like gmial.com, and a 0–100 score you threshold yourself.
It never opens an SMTP connection, so a verify cannot be blocked, greylisted, or counted as a send against your sender reputation. One batch of up to 50 addresses counts as a single API call.
Request
curl -X POST https://api.dokaz.net/v1/email/verify/batch \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"emails":["jane@example.org","bob@mailinator.com","sales@gmial.com"]}'
# straight from a CSV column (header row skipped, first 50), no code:
cut -d, -f1 list.csv | tail -n +2 | head -50 | jq -R . | jq -s '{emails: .}' \
| curl -X POST https://api.dokaz.net/v1/email/verify/batch -H "content-type: application/json" --data-binary @-
The response is {"count", "results"}, where results holds one object per address in request order — each with the same checks, 0–100 score and one-line reason as the single endpoint. One DNS lookup is shared per unique domain; past the per-request DNS budget, domain_has_mx is null and the reason says so. The whole batch counts as one API call.
Not writing code? The free Email address checker tool does the same job in your browser, no sign-up.

Questions
How many addresses per call?
1 to 50 in one POST. Send a longer list as successive batches of 50; each batch counts as one API call, and the free tier is 100 calls a day per IP with no key.
Does the order match my CSV?
Yes. results comes back in the exact order you sent the addresses, so you can line it straight back up with your rows.
Can I do it without writing code?
For a single address, the free email checker on the site does it in your browser. For a whole CSV, the batch endpoint is the fast path — any spreadsheet exports the email column to the list it needs, and the shell one-liner above sends it.
